Prospective and Returning Members,

Welcome to the UC Berkeley chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda, the largest student business organization in the nation! As we enter this fall semester, we plan to actively provide many opportunities at both here locally and at the state and national levels.

Despite our Greek name, we are not a fraternity, so there is no rush or pledge process. Berkeley PBL is open to everyone of every background, from major to gender to race. With this diversity, we have expanded through all fields of studies in recent semesters, extending our professional organization to include both social and technological sides.

PBL offers monumental resume building and leadership development, which is becoming more and more important as a business essential. We urge you to think, feel and lead as you attend our upcoming events:

First General Meeting

Wednesday, 9/1 @ 7pm in 2060 VLSB

Learn about our eight committees and sign up for the ones best suited for you. We have everything from professional committees focused on sharpening your skills to more social committees focused on having fun. Refreshments will be provided.

Meet the Alumni

Thursday, 9/2 @ 7pm in 220 Wheeler

Listen to alumni share their experiences and find out what PBL can offer you in the professional world. Learn how our members venture into various careers spanning from the worlds of finance to technology. Resumes will be accepted.

Social Mixer

Friday, 9/3 @ 7pm in Blakes on Telegraph

Meet and mingle with the faces of PBL! Enjoy free, delicious food and music at Blakes, located on Telegraph and Durant. Discover the fun and heart of PBL in a friendly atmosphere and don't forget to dress to impress!

Internal Networking Kickoff

Tuesday, 9/7 @ 6pm on Memorial Glade

Come out to Memorial Glade and enjoy an evening of fun and free food! Get a chance to meet and socialize with the officers and your fellow members. Meet Internal Networking, where Awesome Revolutionary happens.
